Darren Beveridge took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after winning four of his five matches, as Week One of Series 15 commenced at the MODUS Super Series.
Beveridge, who was making his debut at the Live Lounge, made an excellent start by taking the early lead in Group A after winning four of his five matches.
The Scotsman recorded victories against Jonny Barnes, Patrik Williams, Neven Resetar and Joe Croft, with his only defeat coming against Dean Gallagher, to sit on 8 points from a possible 10 thus far.
Elsewhere, Jonny Barnes and Dean Gallagher also ended the day on 8 points each but sit 2nd and 3rd respectively behind Beveridge on leg difference, whilst Patrik Williams sits in 4th on 4 points, Joe Croft in 5th on 2 points and Neven Resetar bottom on 0 points having suffered five straight defeats.
The MODUS Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Beveridge leading the way thus far.
