A dramatic final round of MODUS Super Series action in Group C saw David Munyua and Kevin Edwards book their places in Saturday’s Finals Night.
Munyua, the Kenyan star, had already secured qualification earlier in the afternoon and finished top of the table with 14 points from 10 matches. David overcame Patrick Dekker, Kevin Edwards, Gary Mawson and Kevin Painter to ensure a place alongside Derek Coulson who qualified from Group A.
All was not lost for Edwards however, he came through a tense conclusion, finishing second on 12 points after Gary Mawson was punished by Kevin Painter in the final round of fixtures.
Mawson ended third on 10 points (level with Kevin Lane on points but behind on leg difference), while Patrick Dekker and Kevin Painter completed the group.

The top two from Group C advance to Saturday’s Finals Night at the Live Lounge, joining Derek Coulson and the three qualifiers still to be decided from Group B this evening.
