Evans Stretches Into MODUS Super Series Finale

David Evans secured his place in Saturday’s Finale on Wednesday, after winning four of his five darts matches to end his Group A campaign, top, as the field was confirmed for Groups B and C at the MODUS Super Series. 

Lancastrian Evans, who entered Wednesday’s play on 16 points from the opening two days of Group A, topped the group overall after winning four matches from five, for the third day in a row.

The Englishman, 36, recorded victories against Benito Van de Pas, Henry Cooper, Richie Howson and Panagiotis Chrysospathis, with his only defeat coming against Kai Fan Leung, to end on 24 points from a possible 30 overall.

Elsewhere, Henry Cooper and Richie Howson will both compete in Group B, after the pair finished 2^nd and 3^rd respectively overall on 16 points each. The duo will be joined on Thursday and Friday Evening by Keegan Brown, Chas Barstow and Steve Green. 

Benito Van de Pas, Kai Fan Leung and Panagiotis Chrysospathis will all compete in Group C, after finishing 4^th, 5^th and 6^th respectively overall, with Van de Pas ending on 14 points, Fan Leung on 12 points and Chrysospathis on 8 points. The trio will be joined on Thursday and Friday Afternoon by Sam Spivey, Pete Hughes and Ben Flanagan-McClelland.  

The MODUS Super Series continues on Thursday with Group C commencing from 1pm BST and Group B commencing from 10pm BST.
