Target have returned with their annual September launch, which they have splattered the ‘Target Obsessed’ tagline all over. As ever with a launch of this scale, there is something for everyone, and Darts World will run you through the highlights.
New Darts Threads
Perhaps the headline of the launch is Target’s new player shirts, which their headline stars have been donning since the World Matchplay in July.
“Our players’ shirts are their armour,” Target said. “Personal to them and right by us.”

13 new designs have been released for fans to represent their favourites, each one priced at £59.95.
Around the board
A new iteration of the Target ‘Tor Board’ has arrived in the form of the ‘Tor Evo’, which the company describes as a new peak in dartboard design.
As the name would suggest, the new piece is an evolution of the symmetrical dartboard design that Target introduced ten years ago.
25% thinner wires are joined by a reversible number ring that darts can stick into, making up a board that lands at £89.95.
Darts darts darts
As ever, though, the main attraction to a launch like this is the darts themselves. And there is plenty to choose from here.
Luke Littler’s ‘Fallout’ darts arrive after he had been playing with the set for a number of months.
Target say that the name Fallout carries three meanings.
“It represents the aftermath of The Nuke’s arrival, the gaming worlds that inspire Luke away from the oche and the lasting consequences of his meteoric rise through the sport.
All this is encapsulated in a 90% tungsten barrel that draws inspiration from the Nuke branding, as the logo is emblazoned in the milling up and down the front to rear section.
There is another budget range that Target have introduced to their armoury, in the form of the ‘Buzz.’ Three different profiles, 90% tungsten, under £40. No frills. Joining them is the ‘Group.
There is room in the launch for Target’s crop of up and coming pros, with four players getting their first signature barrel. Justin Hood, Charlie Manby, Paige Pauling and Adam Lipscombe all receive their maiden ‘Generation 1’ darts as part of the launch, as Target will be hoping they can achieve big things with that new equipment boost.
The Manby’s come in at £94.95, whilst the trio of Hood, Lipscombe and Pauling darts are priced at £74.95.
In contrast, Target also make room for the names of years gone by here. Adrian Lewis receives a revamped ‘Showdown’ dart (£74.95), Raymond Van Barneveld joins the ‘95K’ range (£109.95), and Phil Taylor even gets himself a ‘Chrono’ piece (159.95).
There is also space for the latest installment of the Elysian Archetype range. 58 comes in the form of a 95% tungsten core, enveloped within a 3D printed stainless steel casing, which the company says is a structure with geometry that conventional machining cannot produce.
Priced at £499.95, these are, as ever, a collector’s item with only 500 sets made.
