Team Pieface beat Team Luke Trotman 9-5 overall to win the Red Dragon Creator Clash at the MODUS Live Lounge in Portsmouth on Sunday.
Pieface, the gaming and sports streamer whose real name is Jack McDermott had gone into the day looking to go one better after finishing runner-up last time out. Team Luke Trotman, led by one of the event’s debutant “New Faces”, pushed them all the way, but Pieface’s side came out on top when the results were added up across the day’s pairs matches.
Pieface even pinned the double to secure the mathematical win for his side.
There were plenty of moments to remember along the way, too. Reece Robinson produced an 8 finish going double 4, double 4, while Richie Howson took out 140 with a treble 20 and two double tops.
Darts World ambassador and Women’s World Masters champion Gemma Hayter hit a brilliant 118 to take one of her matches, paired up with Jessie Sale, and JensenNotButton pinned double 2 before celebrating wildly across the stage.
All the creators and those watching in the audience seemed to have a fabulous time at the darts!
The MODUS Super Series returned for Week 9 this Monday at the Live Lounge, following the Creator Clash.
