Fallon Sherrock – Exclusive DW Interview After Winning Beat Luke Littler

Play The Pro Darts Scorer

Fallon Sherrock walked away with the £501,000 prize for beating Luke Littler live on Netflix, and she spoke exclusively to DartsWorld after yet another milestone in an amazing career.

We asked her immediate thoughts after a 15-darter sunk ‘The Nuke’ in Manchester.

“It hasn’t sunken in at all.” said Fallon minutes after her famous win.

“To be honest, I didn’t think I’d get a chance to play. There were so many players on before me. I just wanted the opportunity, and thankfully it came”.

“I was watching and supporting backstage, and willing players on. Luke wasn’t at his best, but players were struggling to get near him.”

“I thought that if I didn’t take my chance then either Mitchell (Lawrie) or Ash (Coleman) would win it, as they are more than capable. I’m just glad it was my night and I’m absolutely over the moon to have won.”

Sherrock won the viewers vote to play leg 15 of the contest against the World Champion, and she made her entrance, albeit with a different walk-on tune accompanying her. It may now become a permanent fixture!

“I wasn’t allowed my normal walk-on song! I don’t even know the song that was played, but maybe I’ll have to keep it as a good luck charm now!”

Fallon would complete her mission in some style, a timely 180 leaving 43 with Littler in the distance on 142. ‘The Queen of the Palace’ still had a job to do, and rather than leave her favourite double 16, she aimed south to leave herself a guaranteed two darts at double.

“That 180 felt amazing, and it took some of the pressure off. All I wanted to do was leave a double, so I played it safe and hit the big three! The first dart at tops was right on the wire, and a good guide, and the feeling when it went in was incredible.”

It was yet another example of Sherrock succeeding where most doubted her, just as she did when making the third round of the PDC World Championship back in 2020, and she most certainly feels at home under the bright lights and on the biggest of stages.

“I just seem to be able to rise to the occasion! I feel really comfortable on the big stage, and that’s where my best game usually comes out.”

As her second dart at tops found the mark, she was presented with her trophy by Littler himself, and her son Rory made his way onto the stage. It was the first time he had been present for one of Fallon’s big-stage assignments, and it was a memorable moment. Although a big Littler fan, Fallon hopes she can win Rory round with some of her prize money.

“I was very emotional after winning, and to have Rory there with me to see me win, especially with it being the first time he’s seen me play live on stage was so special. It’s a life-changing amount of money and I’ve not thought about what I will do with it yet, it feels surreal.”

“Rory’s very happy and has designs on buying a lot of Roblox things!”
