David Wawrzewski, Graham Usher, Robert Owen, Chas Barstow and Scott Walters all booked their places in Saturday’s Finale on Friday at the Online Darts Live League, after coming through their respective groups to join Kai Fan Leung, the winner of Group A earlier in the week.
Wawrzewski, who entered Friday’s play on 8 points from the opening day of Group C, won four of his five matches again, as he topped the table overall, after recording victories over Graham Usher, Richard North, Justin Smith and Arron Monk, with his only defeat coming against Colin Osborne, to end on 16 points from a possible 20.
Elsewhere, Graham Usher also secured his place in Saturday’s finale through Group C, as he finished 2nd overall on 14 points, after winning three of his five matches on Friday. Colin Osborne finished in 3rd on 10 points, Justin Smith in 4th on 8 points, with Richard North and Arron Monk finishing 5th and 6th respectively on 6 points each.
In Group B, Chas Barstow topped the table overall, after winning three of his four matches, in recording victories over Lee Cocks, Scott Walters and Rob Collins, with his only defeat coming against Robert Owen, who topped the nightly table, after winning all four of his matches to progress through to Saturday’s finale, with the pair finishing on 12 points each overall.
Scott Walters also progressed to the finale, after finishing 3rd overall on 6 points, despite losing all four of his matches on Friday evening, and edging past Rob Collins on leg difference, as Lee Cocks finished bottom on 4 points.
Online Darts Live League continues on Saturday with the conclusion of Week 2 with the six players battling it out for the 3 spots up for grabs at Champions Week, with play commencing from 10:00pm GMT. Play will be streamed live on Online Darts TV YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
