Graham Usher secured his place in Saturday’s Champions Week finale on Wednesday, after winning three of his five matches, as Group A came to a close, with the fields being confirmed for Groups B and C at the Online Darts Live League.
Usher, who entered Wednesday’s play on 8 points from the opening day of Group A, won three matches from five to secure his place in Saturday’s finale, by recording victories over Gavin Carlin, Gian Van Veen and Robert Owen, with defeats coming against Conan Whitehead and Josh Payne, to end on 14 points from a possible 20.
Elsewhere, Josh Payne will compete in Group B, after narrowly missing out on top spot on leg difference, despite ending on 14 points overall, with Gian Van Veen and Conan Whitehead joining him in finishing 3rd and 4th respectively overall. The trio will be joined by Matthew Edgar and Nathan Girvan.
Gavin Carlin and Robert Owen will compete in Group C, after finishing 5th and 6th respectively on 6 points each, and will be joined by Robert Thornton, Andy Jenkins, Conor Heneghan and David Pallett.
Online Darts Live League continues on Thursday with Group C commencing from 9:30am BST and Group B commencing from 10pm BST. Play will be streamed live on Online Darts TV YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
