Raymond Smith secured his place in Saturday’s finale on Wednesday, after winning four of his five matches to end his Group A campaign, top, as the field was confirmed for Groups B and C at the Modus Super Series.
Smith, who entered Wednesday’s play on 18 points from the opening two days of Group A, topped the group overall, as he won four matches from five, by recording victories over Adam Atkinson, Ciaran Teehan, Jeroen Mioch and Danny Van Trijp, with his only defeat coming against Ben Robb, to end on 26 points from a possible 30 and breaking the Super Series record with a leg difference of +33 across the three days of play.
Elsewhere, Ben Robb and Jeroen Mioch will compete in Group B, after the pair finished 2nd and 3rd respectively overall, with Robb ending on 20 points and Mioch on 18 points.
The duo will be joined on Thursday & Friday evening by Chas Barstow, Peter Jacques and Prakash Jiwa. Adam Atkinson, Ciaran Teehan and Danny Van Trijp will compete in Group C, after finishing 4th, 5th and 6th respectively overall, with Atkinson ending on 12 points, Teehan on 10 points and Van Trijp on 4 points. The trio will be joined on Thursday & Friday morning by Fallon Sherrock, Carl Wilkinson and Dylan Slevin.
Modus Super Series continues on Thursday with Group C commencing from 9:30am GMT and Group B commencing from 10pm GMT. Play will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
