Andy Boulton and Liam Maendl-Lawrance enjoyed a double success on Saturday, with the pair securing their places at European Tour Events 3 & 4 after coming through the Associate Member & Host Nation Qualifiers.
Niko Springer and Jeroen Mioch were among the names to enjoy further success, as the action continued at Halle 39, Hildesheim.
Boulton, who secured his place at the European Darts Open (ET2) on Friday, went all the way once again, as he first secured his place at the International Darts Open in Riesa, by defeating Stefan Bellmont in his final round tie.
Joining him will be Jeroen Mioch, who defeated fellow compatriot Christian Kist in his decider, with the Dutchman now appearing in 2 of the first 3 Events of the year after securing his place at the Baltic Sea Darts Open later this month on Friday.
In Event Four, Boulton came from behind to see off Belgium’s Francois Schweyen in his final round tie to book his place at the German Darts Open in April. Joining him will be Former Tour Card Holder, Berry Van Peer, who defeated Austria’s Michael Pausch in his decider to secure a return to the PDC stage.
In the Third Host Nation Qualifier, Niko Springer secured his spot at the International Darts Open in Riesa, by defeating Nico Kurz in the decider, after making it through to the Baltic Sea Darts Open during Friday’s Qualifier. Joining him will be Liam Maendl-Lawrance, who will make his European Tour debut, after defeating Stefan Siepmann in his decider, 5-1.
Maendl-Lawrance went all the way once again in Event Four to secure a double qualification, as he defeated Lukas Wenig to secure a spot at the German Darts Open, alongside Dragutin Horvat, who whitewashed Nico Kurz in his decider.
Sunday sees just 1 Qualifier take place for the Associate Member, with two spots up for grabs at the 5th European Tour Event of the year in Graz, Austria. Play will commence at 10:30 CET in Hildesheim and all live scores & results can be viewed at tv.dartconnect.com.
