The Red Dragon Spring 2023 launch is now live, and with it, Red Dragon have bolstered the product range of one of their top professionals, as well as additions to the ranges of their sponsored former World Champions!
Luke Humphries’ new arrows, the TX2 Atomised, keep a consistent barrel shape to his TX1’s, however the similarities stop there. Similar in style to Target’s Dimitri van den Bergh G1, the darts feature a thimble-style tapered nose, as well as that same grip towards the centre and rear of the barrel. An unusual take on a typical ring grip looks to offer an aggressive feel – I’m looking forward to giving these a try!
Next, an addition to Gerwyn Price’s range, with the Firebird darts! A more classic style, with a simple ring grip at the front and rear, and the iconic Price wave design in the centre. A striking red and black design moves away from the infamous blue, black and white that Price has used throughout his career.
I’m a massive fan of these. The Peter Wright Copper Fusion are a modern take on the popular Red Dragon Barrie Bates darts, re-launched as part of the Snakebite brand. A striking design – these are my pick of the launch for sure!
Luke Humphries Joins The Band:
With Red Dragon being 45 years old it seems apt to use a musical analogy and Luke Humphries has made up their fab four. Gezzy, Peter, Jonny and now Luke , certainly sounds like a hit. (Editors comment).
In addition to his darts, Cool Hand has also had his new Tour Polo, Case, XL Stems and Flights released – perfect for any Coolhand fans! The JoustXL shafts are a particular highlight, giving a forgotten range a new lease of life!
Red Dragon has also released a wristband, so you can show your support wherever you are!
