Taylor Edges Towards Champions Week Final

Scott Taylor remained at the top of the table on Tuesday, after winning four of his five matches on Day 2 and looks set to secure his place in Saturday’s Champions Week finale, going into the final day of Group A on Wednesday.

Taylor, who entered Tuesday’s play on 6 points from the opening day of Group A, won four matches from five to remain top of the table, as he recorded victories against Mike Warburton, Matt Clark, Luke Littler and Justin Hood, with his only defeat coming against Jelle Klaasen, to sit on 14 points from a possible 20 thus far.

Elsewhere, Justin Hood and Luke Littler are currently the closest competitors to Taylor, with the pair sitting 2^nd and 3^rd respectively overall on 12 points each, whilst Jelle Klaasen and Mike Warburton sit 4^th and 5^th respectively on 8 points each, with Matt Clark sitting bottom on 6 points.

The Modus Super Series continues on Wednesday with the six players returning on the final day of Group A, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Taylor leading the way thus far. Players who finish in places 2-6 will be split into two groups in Thursday and Friday’s play with Afternoon and Evening sessions taking place on both days, as well as new players entering the fray.

Play will begin at 9:30am BST on Wednesday and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
