Littler Grabs First Finale Place on Champions Week Wednesday

Luke Littler secured his place in Saturday’s Champions Week finale on Wednesday, after winning four of his five matches to end his Group A campaign, top, as the field was confirmed for Groups B and C at the Modus Super Series.

Littler, who entered Wednesday’s play on 12 points from the opening two days of Group A, won four matches from five to top the group overall, as he recorded victories against Mike Warburton, Scott Taylor, Jelle Klaasen and Matt Clark, with his only defeat coming against Justin Hood, to end on 20 points from a possible 30.

Elsewhere, Scott Taylor and Mike Warburton will compete in Group B, after the pair finished 2^nd and 3^rd respectively overall, with Taylor ending on 18 points, after leading the group from Monday, and Warburton on 16 points. The duo will be joined on Thursday and Friday Evening by Darryl Pilgrim, Mike Gillet and Jon Worsley.

Justin Hood, Jelle Klaasen and Matt Clark will compete in Group C, after finishing 4^th, 5^th and 6^th respectively overall, with Hood ending on 16 points and missing out on a spot in Group B due to his head-to-head statistic with Mike Warburton, whilst Klaasen ended on 12 points and Clark on 8 points.

The trio will be joined on Thursday and Friday Afternoon by Steve West, Jacob Taylor and Owen Bates.

Modus Super Series continues on Thursday with Group C commencing from 9:30am GMT and Group B commencing from 10pm GMT. Play will be streamed live on The Modus YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
