Kevin Blomme took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after completing a clean sweep, with five wins from five, with Week Four of Stage Four commencing at the Modus Super Series.
Blomme, who was making his debut at the Super Series, began with the perfect start by winning all five of his matches, as he recorded victories against Philip Van Gasse, Christian Kist, Kevin Painter, Martijn Dragt and Peter Hudson, dropping just four legs across the day.
Elsewhere, Christian Kist ended the day in 2nd on 8 points, Martijn Dragt in 3rd on 6 points, Peter Hudson in 4th on 4 points, Kevin Painter in 5th on 2 points, but it was a disappointing debut for Philip Van Gasse, with the Belgian suffering five straight defeats.
The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Bloome leading the way thus far.
Play will begin at 9:30am BST and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
