Andy Boulton was victorious on Saturday as he crowned the winner of Week Seven at the Modus Super Series, after defeating Sebastian Bialecki in the final to secure a place in Champions Week and winning the weekly £5,000 top prize.
Boulton, who entered Saturday’s finale having won Group A earlier in the week, won both of his group phase matches, as he defeated James Hurrell and Stefan Bellmont to progress through to the Semi Finals, where he came up against Scott Mitchell, and from there, he whitewashed the Former World Champion, 4-0, to book his place in the final.
In the decider, Boulton came up against Sebastian Bialecki, who’d defeated James Hurrell in the last four, and it was a last leg decider that sealed the victory for ‘X Factor’ as he booked his place in Champions Week for the first time and picking up the weekly £5,000 top prize.
The Modus Super Series returns on Monday with the start of Week Eight, with the first of three days of Group A commencing, with the field to be announced in due course.
Play will commence from 9:30am BST and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
