Arjan Konterman took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after winning four of his five matches, with Week Two of Series Five commencing at the Modus Super Series.
Arjan, who last featured at the Super Series back in April during Series Three, made his return by taking the early lead in Group A, as he won four matches from five and recorded victories against Dennie Olde Kalter, Justin Smith, Niall Culleton and Scott Taylor, with his only defeat coming against Darryl Pilgrim.
Elsewhere, Dennie Olde Kalter also ended the day on 8 points, but sits behind his fellow compatriot, Konterman, due to their head-to-head statistic, whilst Darryl Pilgrim sits in 3rd on 6 points, Scott Taylor in 4th on 4 points, with Justin Smith and Niall Culleton sitting joint bottom on 2 points each.
The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Konterman leading the way thus far.
Play will begin at 9:30am BST and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
