Pilgrim Takes Finals Night Spot Darryl Pilgrim was the first player to take a place in the Series 5 Week 2 Finals Night, after claiming a perfect display on Wednesday at the Live Lounge.
Following on from his record-breaking day yesterday where he hit a perfect leg and a 122.69 average, the Englishman continued from where he left off including the big fish in his 4-3 victory over ADC Qualifier Scott Taylor.
Glad All Over finished with 24pts in Group A, with 6pts separating him from second placed Taylor with both Scott and ADC Europe qualifier Dennie Olde Kalter moving into Group B which kickstarts tomorrow night in Portsmouth.
Matt Dennant, Rob Collins, and ADC Qualifier Dave Prins will join them, with all 5 players hunting 2 spots in Finals Night on Saturday.
Arjan Konterman who is the other ADC Europe qualifier along with Irish international and former Finalist Niall Culleton and Justin Smith with all feature in Group C along with Tony Wood, Charlie Large and Dom Taylor, with play set to resume on Thursday in the early afternoon.
Darryl, though, was the player who impressed all through the three days of Group A action, producing standout performances on Day 2, before sealing the deal on Day 3 with 5 wins from 5 at the Live Lounge.
The Englishman will be difficult to defeat and looks in no mood to mess about in Portsmouth, producing a 96+ average in his opening whitewash victory over Arjan Konterman before finding a 95+ average, in his final match of the group beating Justin Smith 4-1.
The action continues Thursday from the Live Lounge, with Group C commencing in the afternoon before the start of Group B which will begin at 10pm live on YouTube and Sportystuff TV.
