Conan Whitehead booked a return to the MODUS Super Series Champions Week after claiming Week 4 glory with a 4-1 victory over ADC Qualifier Richard North in the Final.
The Barbarian is a former Champions Week winner having won the very first series last year and will hope to follow in the footsteps of Luke Littler who is the only multiple Champions Week winner.
The Essex born thrower opened his Finals Night campaign with victory over Willie Borland, defeating the Scotsman 4-2 with a 96.83 average and a 122 check out on the bullseye.
Steve West ended the hopes of Big Willie in the second match from Final Group 1 with a 4-0 victory, including a 104 checkout and a 100% checkout rate to book his spot in the Semi Finals.
Simply Steve West topped the group with a 4-1 victory over Group A winner Whitehead, in a match which included 5 180s with 3 in favour of Steve.
Scott Campbell and Richard North came through Final Group 2 at the expense of Scott Walters, who fell to defeats in both of his matches on Finals Night.
The Lionheart booked his place in the Final with a 4-2 victory over Steve West, after finding double tops with his last dart in hand. The ADC Qualifier also included a 108 check out after finding a Shanghai style finish on the 18 segment of the Winmau Blade 6.
Scott Campbell opened a 2-0 lead in the other Semi Final against Conan Whitehead, only for the Barbarian to respond with a 132 finish in the third leg, pinning the bull twice before hitting double 16 to put him right back in contention. The former Super Series Champions Week winner went on to win 4-2 despite averaging 5pts lower than the Group C eventual winner.
Conan included 4 180s in a 4-1 victory over Richard North in the Final, wrapping up victory with his second dart at double 5 at the Live Lounge. The Englishman joins Matt Clark, Darryl Pilgrim and Mareno Michels in the Series 5 Champions Week lineup so far.
Next week sees 3 ADC Europe qualifiers enter in Group A including Denmark international Benjamin Drue Reus who impressed at the recent PDC World Cup of Darts. Former Lakeside Boys World Champion Leighton Bennett will also be action, as will Irish international Connor Heneghan.
