Cam Crabtree was victorious on Saturday as he was crowned the winner of Week Four at the Modus Super Series, after defeating Adam Hunt in the final to secure a place in Champions Week and pick up the weekly £5,000 top prize.
Crabtree, who entered the finale having won Group B on Thursday and Friday, began the night by winning both of his group phase matches, as he defeated Adam Hunt and Stefan Bellmont to progress through to the Semi Finals.
The youngster came up against Jacob Taylor, and from there, Crabtree whitewashed the Canadian Star, 4-0, to book his place in the final.
In the decider, Crabtree came up against Adam Hunt for the second time on the night, who’d defeated Marcel Walpen in the last four, and once again, the 20-year-old was victorious against ‘The Hunter’, as he came out a 4-1 victor to seal his place in Champions Week and pick up the £5,000 weekly 1st prize.
The Modus Super Series returns on Monday with the start of Week Five, with the first of three days of Group A commencing, with the field including four players who are competing at the upcoming PDC World Darts Championship.
Play will commence from 9:30am GMT and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
