JT Davis Leads MSS on Debut

JT Davis took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after winning four of his five matches, with the ninth week of Series Six commencing at the Modus Super Series.

Davis, from the United States of America, was making his debut at the Super Series. He made an excellent start, taking the early lead in Group A, after winning four matches from five and recording victories against Lisa Ashton, Steven Plumstead, Kristiaan De Boer and Scott Walters, with his only defeat coming against Mareno Michels.

Elsewhere, Kristiaan De Boer ended the day in 2nd on 6 points, whilst the remaining four players in Plumstead, Walters, Michels and Ashton sit 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th respectively overall on 4 points each.

The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Davis leading the way thus far.

Play will begin at 9:30am GMT and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
