Reece Colley was victorious on Saturday as he was crowned the winner of Week 11 at the Modus Super Series, after defeating Ryan Harrington to secure a place in Champions Week and winning the weekly £5,000 top prize.
Colley, who entered the finale having finished 2nd in Group C on Thursday and Friday, began the night by winning just one of his two group phase matchesThe Midlander first suffered a defeat to Chris Gilliland, before whitewashing Ryan Harrington to progress through to the Semi Finals, where he came up against Justin Hood.
Colley, nicknamed ‘Chaos’, defeated ‘Happy Feet’ 4-2 to book his place in the final.
In the decider, Colley came up against Ryan Harrington for the second time on the night, who’d defeated Harry Gregory in the last four, and once again the 24-year-old edged past his compatriot in a last leg decider to seal his place in Champions Week and pick up the £5,000 weekly first prize.
The Modus Super Series returns on Monday with the start of Week 12, with the first of three days of Group A commencing, with the field including Former PDC World Youth Champion Ted Evetts.
Play will commence from 9:30am GMT and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
