Neil Duff was victorious on Saturday as he was crowned the winner of Week Four at the Modus Super Series, after defeating Scott Taylor in the final to secure a place in Champions Week and pick up the weekly £5,000 top prize.

Duff, who entered the finale having won Group B on Thursday and Friday, began the night by winning just one of his two group phase matches, as he firstly suffered a defeat to Chas Barstow, before whitewashing Joe Croft to progress through to the Semi Finals.

The Northern Irishman next came up against Steve Hine, Duff defeated ‘The Muffin Man’ 4-1 to book his place in the final.

In the decider, the former Lakeside Champion came up against Scott Taylor, who’d defeated Joe Croft in the last four.

‘The Duffman’ emphatically denied Taylor the chance to return to Champions Week and defend his title with a 4-1 success to pick up the £5,000 weekly first prize.
