Harry Gregory took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after winning four of his five matches, as Week Eight of Series Seven commenced at the Modus Super Series.
Gregory, who last appeared at the Super Series back in February, made his return by taking the early lead in Group A, with the youngster winning four matches from five.
The latest North West breakthrough talent recorded victories against James Richardson, Harry Ward, Lee Cocks and John O’Shea, with his only defeat coming against Gilbert Van der Meijden, to end the day on 8 points from a possible 10.
Elsewhere, Van der Meijden also ended the day on 8 points, but sits in 2nd behind Gregory on leg difference, whilst Harry Ward sits in 3rd on 6 points, John O’Shea in 4th on 4 points, with James Richardson and Lee Cocks sitting 5th and 6th respectively on 2 points each.
The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Gregory leading the way thus far.
