Beau Leads Ladies MSS Special

Beau Greaves took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five, as the inaugural Women’s Week commenced at the Modus Super Series.

Women’s Week marks the second of the MODUS series ‘Feature/Special Weeks’ after Neil Duff claimed the Double Star Special back in March. Twelve of the best female players available, including several legendary names and some of the finest current players.

Greaves, who entered the week having lost out in the Semi Finals of Champions Night on Saturday, made her return with the best possible start, after winning all five of her matches.

Beau and Arrow recorded victories against Fallon Sherrock, Trina Gulliver, Katie Sheldon, Kirsi Viinikainen and Rhian O’Sullivan, to sit on 10 points from a possible 10 thus far.

Elsewhere, Fallon Sherrock ended the day in 2^nd on 8 points, whilst Kirsi Viinikainen and Rhian O’Sullivan sit 3^rd and 4^th respectively on 4 points each, with Trina Gulliver and Katie Sheldon sitting 5^th and 6^th on 2 points each.

The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Greaves leading the way thus far.
