Dirty Harry’s Defence On Course

Andreas Harrysson secured his place in Saturday’s finale on Wednesday, after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five to end his Group A campaign, top, as the field was confirmed for Groups B and C at the Modus Super Series.

Harrysson, who entered Wednesday’s play on 16 points from the opening two days of Group A, topped the group overall, after winning all five of his matches for the second day in a row as he seeks a second MSS title in a row.

The Swede recorded victories against John Henderson, Gilbert Van der Meijden, Reece Robinson, Tommy Morris and Niall Culleton, to end on 26 points from a possible 30.

Elsewhere, John Henderson and Tommy Morris will compete in Group B, after the pair finished 2^nd and 3^rd respectively overall, with Henderson ending on 20 points and Morris on 14 points. The duo will be joined on Thursday and Friday Evening by John O’Shea, Alec Small and Ross Montgomery.

Gilbert Van der Meijden, Niall Culleton and Reece Robinson will all compete in Group C, after finishing 4^th, 5^th and 6^th respectively overall, with Van der Meijden ending on 14 points, Culleton on 10 points and Robinson on 6 points.

The trio will be joined on Thursday and Friday Afternoon by Lee Cocks, Richard Hosey and Richard-Eirig Rowlands.

The Modus Super Series continues on Thursday with Group C commencing from 1pm BST and Group B commencing from 10pm BST.
