Brooks and Lucky D Lead at MSS

Bradley Brooks and Darius Labanauskas took the early lead on Thursday in ending Day One of their respective groups, top, as they look to join Carl Wilson in Saturday’s finale at the Modus Super Series.

Brooks, who entered Group C having finished 4^th in Group A earlier in the week, took the early lead after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five, as he recorded victories against Scott Marsh, Charlie Martin, Niels Van Zanten, Alec Small and Neil Duff, to sit on a maximum 10 points from 10 thus far. 

Elsewhere, Neil Duff and Charlie Martin ended the day 2^nd and 3^rd respectively on 6 points each, whilst Alec Small sits in 4^th on 4 points, with Niels Van Zanten and Scott Marsh sitting 5^th and 6^th on 2 points each. 

In Group B, Darius Labanauskas took the early lead after completing a clean sweep with four wins from four, as he recorded victories against Richard Rowlands, Gemma Hayter, Steve West and Ciaran Teehan, to sit on a maximum 8 points from 8 thus far. 

Elsewhere, Gemma Hayter ended the evening in 2^nd on 6 points, Richard Rowlands in 3^rd on 4 points, Steve West in 4^th on 2 points and Ciaran Teehan bottom on 0 points, having suffered four straight defeats. 

The Modus Super Series continues on Friday with players continuing to battle out as they aim to join Carl Wilson in Saturday’s finale, with Brooks and Labanauskas taking the early lead thus far. Group C will commence from 1pm BST and Group B will commence from 10pm BST. Play will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
