Andreas Harrysson was victorious on Saturday as he was crowned the winner of Week Two of MODUS Super Series 9 , after defeating Mike Warburton in the final to secure a place in Champions Week and winning the weekly £5,000 top prize.
Harrysson, the Super Series 7 champion, entered the finale having won Group A earlier in the week and began the night by winning both of his group phase matches.
The popular Swede defeated Ross Montgomery and Justin Smith to progress through to the Semi Finals, where he came up against Robert Thornton, and from there, Harrysson defeated ‘The Thorn’ 4-3 to book his place in the final.

In the decider, Harrysson came up against Mike Warburton, who’d defeated Justin Smith in the last four, and nothing separated the pair throughout the tie until ‘Dirty Harry’ sealed the victory in a seventh and deciding leg to book his place in Champions Week once again, as well as collecting the winner’s cheque.
The Modus Super Series returns on Monday for the start of Week Three and the first of three days of Group A commencing, with the field including Former PDC World Championship Finalist Andy Hamilton.
