Darryl Pilgrim took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five, with Week 12 of Series Nine commencing at the MODUS Super Series.
Pilgrim, 37, who last competed in Portmouth back in August, made a perfect return by winning all five of his matches on the opening day of Group A.
Mr. P recorded victories against Steve Reynolds, Conan Whitehead, Jimmy Van Schie, Adam Lipscombe and Hilton Klein, dropping just two legs across the day to sit on a maximum 10 points from 10 thus far.

Elsewhere, Jimmy Van Schie ended the day in 2nd on 8 points, Steve Reynolds in 3rd on 6 points, Conan Whitehead in 4th on 4 points, Adam Lipscombe in 5th on 2 points and Hilton Klein bottom on 0 points, having suffered five straight defeats on debut.
The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Pilgrim leading the way thus far.
