Jimmy Van Schie was victorious on Saturday as he crowned the winner of Week 12 at the Modus Super Series, after defeating Steve West in the final to secure a place in Champions Week and winning the weekly title and top prize.
Van Schie, who entered the finale having won Group A earlier in the week, began the night by winning just one of his two group phase matches, as he firstly suffered a defeat to Conan Whitehead, before defeating Darryl Pilgrim to progress through to the Semi Finals.
The Dutchman then came up against Richie Howson, and from there, Van Schie defeated ‘The Owl’ 4-2 to book his place in the final.
In the decider, Van Schie came up against Steve West, who’d defeated Conan Whitehead in the last four, and nothing separated the pair throughout the tie until the Dutchman sealed the victory in a last leg decider to book his place in Champions Week as well as collecting the winner’s prize.

The Modus Super Series returns on Monday for the start of Champions Week, with the first of three days of Group A commencing, with the field to be announced in due course. Play will commence from 9:30am GMT and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
