Michael Wiles has written his name into the MODUS Super Series storybook in the most emphatic fashion. The Essex thrower, making his debut after qualifying through the ADC route, claimed the weekly title and with it a place in Champions Week.
Wiles arrived in Portsmouth having put in the hard yards across the ADC Tour and the VAULT. That preparation paid dividends throughout a demanding week.
After a strong showing in Group A — where he finished second behind Jeff Smith on 24 points following a perfect five-from-five day midweek — he progressed through the later groups and carried that form into Saturday’s Finale.
In the final stages of the week the Englishman produced the decisive darts when it mattered most, emerging as the Week Nine champion and securing the £5,000 first prize along with qualification for the lucrative Champions Week.
His success underlines the open pathway the ADC provides. Membership remains just £5, giving every player the same opportunity to progress from regional and tour events onto the Super Series stage and beyond.
Great darts from Michael on his first appearance — a debut to remember and a well-earned place among the MSS elite.
