CHRISTIAN Kist’s nine-dart finish on Wednesday sparked a market for betting whether or not this will be the only perfect leg seen this at this years event.

Luke Littler has been named as the most likely player to hit another nine-darter in this year’s PDC World Championship, according to William Hill.

Littler is the clear favourite to achieve a nine-dart finish in the tournament with odds of 4/1, ahead of Luke Humphries at 11/1.

Close contenders include Gary Anderson and Michael van Gerwen, both at 14/1, followed by Michael Smith, Gerwyn Price and Chris Dobey, each listed at 16/1.

The 2025 World Championship has already seen one nine-darter in the early rounds, raising expectations for more to come, and the odds for over 1.5 nine-darters stand at 8/13, while over 2.5 is priced as short as 7/4.

“Christian Kist’s sensational nine-darter, the 15th perfect checkout in the history of the PDC World Championship, has set the stage for an electrifying tournament with plenty of darts still to be played.

“The question is if another nine-darter can be landed this tournament, and Luke Littler is the clear favourite to deliver one at 4/1, followed by Luke Humphries at 11/1.

“With one nine-darter already achieved early in the World Championship, we have odds of 8/13 for there to be at least one more in the tournament, and over 2.5 at competitive odds of 7/4.”
