Small Surges to Super Series Success

Play the Pro Darts Scorer

Alec Small was victorious on Saturday as he was crowned the winner of Week One at the Modus Super Series, after defeating Adam Sevada in the final to secure a place in Champions Week and winning the weekly first prize.

Small, who entered the finale having won Group C on Thursday and Friday, began the night by winning both of his group phase matches, as he whitewashed Ross Montgomery and Adam Sevada to progress through to the Semi Finals, where he came up against Neil Meneer, and from there, Small defeated the Englishman, 4-2, to book his place in the final.

In the decider, Small came up against Adam Sevada for the second time on the night, who’d defeated Jack Tweddell in the last four.

Once again, the Welshman dispatched his North American opponent, as Small defeated Sevada in a last leg decider, 4-3, to secure the first spot into Champions Week of Series Ten as well as collecting £5,000 in prize money.

The Modus Super Series returns on Monday for the start of Week Two, with the first of three days of Group A commencing and the field including two Former PDC World Championship Finalists in Simon Whitlock and Andy Hamilton.

Play will commence from 9:30am GMT and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Pluto TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
