Belgium's B's Bag International Pairs Darts Title

Andy Baetens & Brian Raman (Belgium) were victorious on Saturday as they were crowned the winners of International Pairs Week at the MODUS Super Series darts, after defeating Scott Campbell & Jim McEwan (Scotland) in the final and claiming the weekly top prize.

Team Belgium, who entered the finale having won Group B on Thursday and Friday, began the night by winning just one of their two group phase matches, as they firstly defeated Scott Campbell & Jim McEwan (Scotland), before suffering a defeat to Daniel Klose & Paul Krohne (Germany).

However, the Belgian duo did progress through to the Semi Finals, where they came up against Richie Burnett & Kurt Parry (Wales) and from there, Baetens & Raman dispatched of their Welsh opponents, 4-1, to book their place in the final.

In the decider, Baetens & Raman came up against Team Scotland for the second time on the night, who’d defeated Conor Heneghan & John O’Shea (Ireland) in the last four, and once again Team Belgium were victorious against the Scottish pair, as Baetens & Raman sealed a narrow 4-3 victory to pick up the third International Pairs crown and join Netherlands & Ireland in the roll of honour of weekly winners.

The MODUS Super Series returns on Monday with Series 14 commencing and the start of Week One, with the first of three days of Group A and the field to be announced in due course.
