Coulson Claims MODUS Darts Finale Spot

Derek Coulson secured his place in Saturday’s Champions Week Finale on Wednesday, after winning three of his five matches to end his Group A campaign, top, as the field was confirmed for Groups B and C at the MODUS Super Series darts.

Derek, who entered Wednesday’s play on 16 points from the opening two days of Group A, topped the group overall after winning three matches from five, as he recorded victories against Jack Drayton, Nathan Potter and Chas Barstow, with his two defeats coming against Graham Hall and Simon Stevenson, to end on 22 points from a possible 30 overall.

Elsewhere, Simon Stevenson and Jack Drayton will both compete in Group B, after the pair finished 2^nd and 3^rd respectively overall, with Stevenson ending on 20 points and Drayton on 14 points. The duo will be joined on Thursday and Friday Evening by Jamai Van den Herik, Neil Duff and Keanu Van Velzen.

Graham Hall, Chas Barstow and Nathan Potter will all compete in Group C, after finishing 4^th, 5^th and 6^th respectively overall, with Hall ending on 14 points, Barstow on 12 points and Potter on 8 points. The trio will be joined on Thursday and Friday Afternoon by Scott Taylor, Radek Szaganski and Steve Green.

The Modus Super Series continues on Thursday with Group C commencing from 1pm BST and Group B commencing from 10pm BST.
