Morris Sweeps Into MSS Finale

Tommy Morris secured his place in Saturday’s finale on Wednesday, after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five to end his Group A campaign, top, as the field was confirmed for Groups B and C at the MODUS Super Series. 

‘Tommy Gun’, who entered Wednesday’s play on 18 points from the opening two days of Group A, topped the group overall after winning all five of his matches, as he recorded victories against Steve Green, Danny Lauby, John Henderson, George Cressey and Twan Uriot, to end on 28 points from a possible 30 overall.

Elsewhere, George Cressey and John Henderson will both compete in Group B, after the pair finished 2nd and 3rd respectively overall on 20 points each. The duo will be joined on Thursday and Friday Evening by Scott Campbell, Lee Cocks and Jamie Kelling.  

Twan Uriot, Steve Green and Danny Lauby will all compete in Group C, after finishing 4th, 5th and 6th respectively overall, with Uriot finishing on 12 points, Green on 6 points and Lauby on 4 points. The trio will be joined on Thursday and Friday Afternoon by Ashley Coleman, Adam Mould and Ciaran Forde.  

The MODUS Super Series continues on Thursday with Group C commencing from 1pm BST and Group B commencing from 10pm BST.

Play will be streamed on Pluto TV with highlights and other coverage on the MODUS Super Series YouTube channel, or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
