Red Dragon has unveiled the most substantial technological progression in its modern product catalogue with the introduction of its inaugural Switch Point range, a development designed to provide players with unprecedented levels of setup adaptability and professional-grade customisation.
Officially launched on 26th May, the new collection incorporates interchangeable point technology across a selection of elite player models and performance darts, allowing users to modify point length, grip profile and overall configuration with immediate ease. The innovation has been heavily influenced by the precise stage setups utilised by several of Red Dragon’s leading professionals and represents a decisive shift towards greater equipment modularity within the sport.
The newly integrated system enables competitors to tailor their darts according to varying playing environments, board conditions and individual throwing preferences, while simultaneously bringing amateur and aspiring players considerably closer to the specifications employed at the highest echelon of professional competition.
Significantly, the new technology has also been engineered with universal compatibility in mind, allowing Red Dragon barrels to function seamlessly alongside other prominent interchangeable point systems currently available across the wider darts marketplace, including Swiss Point and Quick Point formats.

Player Power Adds To New Switch Point Darts Technology
Four premium tour-spec releases form the centrepiece of the launch, with signature editions developed in collaboration with Luke Humphries, Jonny Clayton, Gerwyn Price and Gian van Veen. Each model has been manufactured using 90 per cent tungsten construction to maximise equilibrium, consistency and aerodynamic refinement.
Luke Humphries’ TX1 Pioneer SP has been specifically configured around the reigning world champion’s preferred torpedo barrel profile, generating a forward-weighted balance intended to produce fluidity and repetitive release precision. Meanwhile, Jonny Clayton’s Hiraeth SP incorporates the Welshman’s exact professional setup and introduces a uniquely textured raw barrel aesthetic inspired by the topographical character of the Welsh landscape.
