Archie Self was victorious on Saturday as he was crowned the winner of Week Four at the MODUS Super Series, after defeating James Buckby in the final to secure a place in Champions Week and pick up the weekly £5,000 top prize.
Archie, who entered the finale having won Group B on Thursday and Friday, began the night by winning both of his group phase matches as he defeated James Buckby and Josh McCarthy to progress through to the Semi Finals, where he came up against George Killington and from there, Self defeated ‘The Killer’ 4-2 to book his place in the final.

In the decider, Self came up against James Buckby for the second time on the night, who’d defeated Kurt Parry in the last four, and once again the teenager got the better of his compatriot, as Self sealed a 4-0 whitewash victory to book his place in Champions Week as well as collecting the £5,000 top prize.
The MODUSSuper Series returns on Monday with the start of Week Five, with the first of three days of Group A commencing, with the field including Scottish icon & Former World Cup of Darts winner John Henderson.
