David Evans, Brian Raman, Jake Neale, Tommy Lishman and Jamie Owens all secured their places in Saturday’s darts finale on Friday after coming through their respective groups at the MODUS Super Series, to join Rob Grundy, the winner of Group A earlier in the week.
In Group B, David Evans topped the group overall despite only winning two of his four matches on Friday Evening, as he recorded victories against Keegan Brown and Jamie Owens, with his two defeats coming against Tommy Lishman and Tomoya Goto, to end on 10 points from a possible 16 overall.
Elsewhere, Tommy Lishman and Jamie Owens also progressed through to Saturday’s Finale, after the pair finished 2nd and 3rd respectively overall, with Lishman ending on 10 points and Owens on 8 points, edging out Tomoya Goto, who also ended on 8 points but missed out in 4th due to leg difference whilst Keegan Brown finished bottom on 4 points.

Raman, who entered Friday’s play on 8 points from the opening day of Group C, topped the group overall after winning two of his five matches, as he recorded victories against Callum Goffin and Jake Neale, with his three defeats coming against Jose Justicia, Aaron Turner and Tom Lonsdale, to end on 12 points from a possible 20 overall.
Elsewhere, Jake Neale also progressed through to Saturday’s Finale, after finishing 2nd overall on 12 points, edging out Aaron Turner, who also ended on 12 points, but missed out in 3rd due to leg difference, whilst Tom Lonsdale finished 4th on 10 points, Callum Goffin in 5th on 8 points and Jose Justicia bottom on 6 points.
The MODUS Super Series continues on Saturday with the conclusion of Week Six with the six players battling it out for just one spot up for grabs at Champions Week, with play commencing from 7:30pm BST.
