David Evans was victorious on Saturday as he was crowned the winner of Week Six at the Modus Super Series, after defeating Rob Grundy in the final to secure a place in Champions Week and claim the weekly £5,000 top prize.
David, who entered the finale having won Group B on Thursday and Friday, began the night by winning both of his group phase matches, as he defeated Jamie Owens and Brian Raman to progress through to the Semi Finals, where he came up against Tommy Lishman and from there, Evans defeated his fellow Englishman, 4-1, to book his place in the final.

In the decider, Evans came up against Rob Grundy, who’d whitewashed Jamie Owens in the last four, and in a battle between two Former PDC Tour Card Holders, it was Evans who came out on top and sealed a 4-2 victory to pick up a third weekly title at the Super Series as well as collecting the £5,000 top prize.
The MODUS Super Series returns on Monday with the start of Week Seven, with the first of three days of Group A commencing, with the field including Series 10 Champion Jenson Walker.
