Oliver Mitchell, Harry Ward, Jenson Walker, Daniel Ayres and Radek Szaganski all secured their places in Saturday’s Finale on Friday after coming through their respective groups at MODUS Super Series darts, to join Derek Coulson, the winner of Group A earlier in the week.
Mitchell, who entered Friday’s play on 6 points from the opening day of Group C, topped the group overall after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five, as he recorded victories against Keanu Van Velzen, Steven Johnstone, Harry Ward, Colin McCaughern and Ricardo Ham, to end on 16 points from a possible 20 thus far.
Elsewhere, Harry Ward also progressed through to Saturday’s Finale, after finishing 2nd overall on 14 points, whilst Steven Johnstone finished 3rd on 12 points, Ricardo Ham in 4th on 8 points, Colin McCaughern in 5th on 6 points and Keanu Van Velzen bottom on 4 points.

In Group B, Jenson Walker topped the group overall after completing a clean sweep with four wins from four on Friday Evening, as he recorded victories against Matthew Dennant, Radek Szaganski, James Beeton and Daniel Ayres, to end on 14 points from a possible 16 overall.
Elsewhere, Daniel Ayres and Radek Szaganski also progressed through to Saturday’s Finale, after the pair finished 2nd and 3rd respectively overall, with Ayres ending on 10 points and Szaganski on 8 points, whilst James Beeton finished 4th on 6 points and Matthew Dennant bottom on 2 points.
The MODUS Super Series continues on Saturday with the conclusion of Week Seven with the six players battling it out for just one spot up for grabs at Champions Week, with play commencing from 7:30pm BST.
