Gibraltar will replace Uganda in the field for the 2026 BetVictor World Cup of Darts, which gets underway in Frankfurt on Thursday.
Patrick Ocheng and Juma Said were set to represent Uganda in their maiden World Cup appearance after winning through the African Darts Group qualifier, although the pair have been forced to withdraw from the event due to visa issues.

The Ugandan duo were denied visas to enter Germany and have been unsuccessful in an appeal against the decision.
Malawi, as runners-up, were also unable to source visas in time for the event, and as such previous participants Gibraltar will now replace them in Group D.

Craig Galliano and Justin Hewitt will renew their partnership for Gibraltar, who face 2019 runners-up Republic of Ireland and Singapore in Group D as they extend an ever-present record for their nation.
The 2026 World Cup of Darts will be held at Frankfurt’s Eissporthalle from June 11-14, as 40 nations compete for the coveted title in the unique pairs event.
