Scott Robertson was victorious on Saturday as he was crowned the winner of Week 12 at the MODUS Super Series, after defeating Alex Williams in the final to secure a place in Champions Week and winning the weekly title and top prize.
Scott, who entered the finale having won Group B on Thursday and Friday, began the night by winning both of his group phase matches as he defeated English duo Jarred Cole and Ted Evetts to progress through to the Semi Finals, where he came up against Andy Hamilton.
From there Robertson defeated ‘The Hammer’ 4-1 to book his place in the final.In the decider, Robertson came up against Alex Williams, who’d whitewashed Ted Evetts in the last four.
The Scotsman who got the better of his Welsh opponent, as Robertson sealed a 4-2 victory to secure his place in Champions Week as well as the £5,000 first prize.
The MODUS Super Series returns on Monday for the start of Champions Week, with the first of three days of Group A commencing, with the field to be announced in due course.
