Ashley Coleman secured his place in Saturday’s Champions Week Finale on Wednesday, after winning two of his five matches to end his Group A campaign, top, as the field was confirmed for Groups B and C at the MODUS Super Series.
Ashley, who entered Wednesday’s play on 18 points from the opening two days of Group A, topped the group overall despite only winning two matches from five on Day Three.
‘The Prince of Darkness’ recorded victories against Derek Coulson and Jack Aldridge, with his three defeats coming against David Evans, Henry Coates and Archie Self, to end on 22 points from a possible 30 overall.
Elsewhere, Derek Coulson and Henry Coates will both compete in Group B, after the pair finished 2nd and 3rd respectively overall on 16 points each. The duo will be joined on Thursday and Friday Evening by Scott Taylor, Neil Duff and Scott Robertson.
Jack Aldridge, Archie Self and David Evans will all compete in Group C, after finishing 4th, 5thand 6th respectively overall, with Aldridge and Self ending on 14 points each, with Evans on 8 points. The trio will be joined on Thursday and Friday Afternoon by Jack Tweddell, Alec Small and Michael Huntley.
The MODUS Super Series continues on Thursday with Group C commencing from 1pm BST and Group B commencing from 10pm BST.
