Ashley Coleman maintained his position at the top of the table on Tuesday, after winning four of his five matches on Day Two and looks set to secure his place in Saturday’s Champions Week Finale, going into the final day of Group A on Wednesday.
Ashley, who entered Tuesday’s play on 10 points from the opening day of Group A, won four matches from five to remain at the top of the table, as he recorded victories against Jack Aldridge, Archie Self, David Evans and Henry Coates, with his only defeat coming against Derek Coulson, to sit on 18 points from a possible 20 thus far.
Elsewhere, Derek Coulson is the closest competitor to Coleman, with the Welshman sitting in 2nd overall on 16 points, whilst Jack Aldridge sits in 3rd on 10 points, Henry Coates and Archie Self sitting 4th and 5th on 6 points each, with David Evans sitting bottom on 4 points.
The MODUS Super Series continues on Wednesday with the six players returning on the final day of Group A, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Champions Week Finale, with Coleman leading the way thus far.
Players who finish in places 2-6 will be split into two groups during Thursday and Friday’s play with Afternoon and Evening sessions taking place on both days, as well as new players entering the fray.
Play will begin at 9:30am BST on Wednesday and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Pluto TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
