Archie Self, Jack Aldridge, Henry Coates, Derek Coulson and Scott Robertson all secured their places in Saturday’s Champions Week Finale on Friday.
After coming through their respective groups at the MODUS Super Series, the five will join Ashley Coleman, the winner of Group A earlier in the week.
Self, who entered Friday’s play on 8 points from the opening day of Group C, topped the group overall after winning three of his five matches, as he recorded victories against Jack Aldridge, Alec Small and Jack Tweddell, with his two defeats coming against David Evans and Michael Huntley, to end on 14 points from a possible 20 overall.
Elsewhere, Jack Aldridge also progressed through to Saturday’s Finale, after finishing 2ndoverall on 14 points, whilst Michael Huntley finished 3rd on 12 points, David Evans in 4th on 10 points, Jack Tweddell in 5th on 8 points and Alec Small bottom on 2 points.
In Group B, Henry Coates topped the group overall after completing a clean sweep with four wins from four on Friday Evening, as he recorded victories against Scott Taylor, Derek Coulson, Scott Robertson and Neil Duff, to end on 12 points from a possible 16 overall.
Elsewhere, Derek Coulson and Scott Robertson also progressed through to Saturday’s Finale, after the pair finished 2nd and 3rd respectively overall, with Coulson ending on 10 points and Robertson on 8 points, whilst Neil Duff finished 4th on 6 points and Scott Taylor bottom on 4 points.
The MODUS Super Series continues on Saturday with the conclusion of Champions Week with the six players battling it out for the £20,000 first prize, with play commencing from 7:30pm BST.
