At a Media breakfast in London, Target Darts have confirmed a new partnership with Powerleague, a link-up which will see Target Dartzone installed across 20 venues.
The headline of the breakfast from the dart manufacturer was an investment in technology, and an aim to triple the number of participants playing the sport and to inspire millions to pick up a set of darts for the first time by 2030, and the new agreement will go a long way to achieving that.
Powerleague has been a staple for five and seven-a-side football for some years, and the company have recently branched out, and invested in Padel and Netball courts, with a plan to offer cricket facilities at their branches in the near future.
The partnership will also see Powerleague become an official venue partner for Target Darts’ youth development programmes, making darts more accessible and delivering experienced for players of all ages and abilities.
James Tattersall, CEO of Target Darts, said: “Darts is enjoying significant growth at the moment, and we’re creating more opportunities for people to discover and enjoy the sport. Our partnership with Powerleague allows us to bring modern, connected darts experiences into communities across the UK at scale.”
He added: “We are adding another competitive and entertaining dimension to the small-sided football experience, creating new spaces where players can compete against each other on and off the pitch.”

The first Dartzone in Powerleague Birmingham will open from 24 August, with further rollout planned across 2026.
