The Women’s Amateur Darts Circuit staged Events 5 to 8 of its Winmau Championship (South) season at Bradmoor Farm this weekend, and by the time the dust settled, two of the biggest names in the women’s game had claimed two titles apiece in front of what organisers are calling the strongest field the venue has hosted to date.
They also occupied the top two places on the ranking table that decides qualifications and opportunities later in the year.

Hayter’s Saturday Darts Double
Saturday belonged to newly-crowned World Masters champion and Darts World Ambassador Gemma Hayter, who added her second and third titles of the campaign to tighten her grip on top spot in the South standings.
Event Five was the tougher of the two. After opening her day with a 95.43 average in a whitewash win over Rose Mort, Hayter needed a nip-and-tuck 5-4 final win over in-form Vicky Purim to get over the line in a replay of their first round affair at the Women’s World Matchplay. Event six brought the dat’s marquee moment, a last-64 decider against Deta Hedman that Hayter edged 4-3 before an 81.41 average carried her past Mort in the semis.
She was ruthless in the final, an 83.50 average delivered a 50-0 win over Eve Watson, whose own run to the final had included the individual performance of the day, a 97.70 average in a 5-1 quarter-final win over Pruim, and a 5-2 semi-final win over Trina Gulliver.

Hedman’s Response
If Saturday was Hayter’s day, Sunday belonged unmistakably to Deta Hedman. The WDF World Champion recovered from a quieter first day to sweep both remaining titles, beginning with a 5-3 win over Fallon Sherrock in the Event Seven Final. Hedman dropped just a single leg on her way to the quarter-finals, produced an 89.46 average to whitewash Watson in the semis, and raced into a 4-1 lead courtesy of finishes of 80 and 58.
Sherrock, playing her 2026 Championship debut this weekend, having averaged north of 93 earlier in the day hit back with finishes of 104 and 88 to close the gap to 4-3, but Hedman found double five to bank the £500 winner’s cheque.
She wasn’t finished there. A 5-3 semi-final win over Hayter set up the Event Eight final, which Hedman won 5-0 against Steph Clarke, opening with a 90 checkout and closing out at an average above 80 for her second title of the day.
Hayter leads Hedman by 41 points at the top of the table, heading into the final weekend, with Watson and Gulliver locked together on 126 points in third and fourth. The name to watch though, sits outside the automatic qualification places entirely. Fallon Sherrock’s single weekend of action was enough to put her ninth on 60 points, and her running average of 77.49 is the best of anyone in the field. With one more weekend of ranking events still to come, she’ll fancy her chances of forcing her way into the top eight.

The final four events of the WADC Winmau Championship South take place at Bradmoor Farm on 24-25 October, with the top eight qualifying for the Grand Finals at the MODUS Live Lounge, Portsmouth on 21-22 November, where the table winner will also earn a place at the ADC Global Championship.
