Daniel Klose was victorious on Sunday, in winning his second Challenge Tour title of the year, after defeating Derek Coulson in the decider of Event 20, as the fourth weekend of the PDC’s second tier tour season ended in Milton Keynes.
Klose – the winner of Event Seven back in March – reached his second final of the weekend as he recorded victories on the day against Ellis Hadford, Jamie Kay, Cayden Smith, Patrick Dekker, Carl Wilson, Ricardo Ulrich and Scott Waites, to set up a clash with Coulson.
The final began with Klose racing into a 3-0 lead with winning legs coming in 17,16 and 15 darts respectively, before Coulson ended the drought by picking up his first leg of the tie in Leg Four with a 13 dart hold of throw.
Klose then won back-to-back legs which saw the German seal a 5-1 victory in Leg Six with a 15 darter to pick up a second title of the year and move up to third on the Challenge Tour Order of Merit heading into the remaining four events of 2026.
The PDC Winmau Challenge Tour season concludes between 26-27 September with Events 21-24 taking place at the Robin Park Leisure Centre, Wigan.
