Evans Leads Intriguing Super Series Group

David Evans maintained his position at the top of the table on Tuesday, after winning four of his five darts matches on Day Two and looks to secure his place in Saturday’s Finale, going into the final day of Group A on Wednesday. 

David, who entered Tuesday’s play on 8 points from the opening day of Group A, won four matches from five to remain at the top of the table, as he recorded victories against Panagiotis Chrysospathis, Kai Fan Leung, Benito Van de Pas and Richie Howson, with his only defeat coming against Henry Cooper, to sit on 16 points from a possible 20 thus far.

Elsewhere, three players in Benito Van de Pas, Richie Howson and Kai Fan Leung (above) ended the day 2^nd, 3^rd and 4^th respectively in the three way points tie on 10 points each, whilst Henry Cooper sits in 5^th on 8 points and Panagiotis Chrysospathis bottom on 6 points.  

The MODUS Super Series continues on Wednesday with the six players returning on the final day of Group A, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Evans leading the way thus far.

Players who finish in places 2-6 will be split into two groups for Thursday and Friday’s play with Afternoon and Evening sessions taking place on both days, as well as new players entering the fray.

Play begins at 9:30am BST as always MSS play is streamed on Pluto TV with highlights and other coverage on the MODUS Super Series YouTube channel, or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
