The draw and schedule of play for the 2026 Blåkläder Flanders Darts Trophy has been confirmed, as the race to qualify for the World Grand Prix concludes in Antwerp this weekend.
The year’s 13th European Tour event will be held at the Antwerp Expo from September 11-13, with the battle for European Championship qualification also set to continue on Belgian soil.
Friday’s opening round will see 16 matches take place across an action-packed double session, as Beau Greaves faces Australian number one Damon Heta in a blockbuster affair.
Sebastian Bialecki (pictured) and Kim Huybrechts lock horns in a potentially pivotal clash in the race for a World Grand Prix place, while Spanish star Cristo Reyes – also eyeing a spot in Leicester – begins his campaign against former World Champion Rob Cross.
Dutch icon Raymond van Barneveld marks his return to European Tour action against Canadian veteran Jim Long, as Dirk van Duijvenbode and Brendan Dolan go head-to-head.
Austrian Darts Open runner-up Kevin Doets has been pitted against James Hurrell, while Scotland’s World Cup semi-finalist Cameron Menzies goes up against the mercurial Gabriel Clemens.
The top 16 players on the PDC Werner Rankings Ladder will enter the tournament in round two on Saturday, as top seed Gian van Veen opens his title challenge against Menzies or Clemens.
James Wade – who is aiming to confirm his European Championship qualification this weekend – meets Van Barneveld or Long, as third seed Michael van Gerwen awaits Heta or Greaves in a tantalising showdown on Saturday evening.
Bialecki and Huybrechts battle it out for the right to face Wessel Nijman – a two-time winner on the European Tour in 2026 – as Nathan Aspinall sets his sights on a potential clash against Niko Springer.

Gerwyn Price will face either Mickey Mansell or Bradley Brooks in his opener, with Stephen Bunting handed an opening round tussle against Van Duijvenbode or Dolan.
Elsewhere, Martin Schindler will kick off his campaign against Cross or Reyes, as the German number one bids to launch a last-ditch bid for World Grand Prix qualification.
The field will be finalised on Thursday, with four Belgian players poised to come through the Host Nation Qualifier in Antwerp
Following the conclusion of Saturday’s action, the last 16 will return to the stage on Sunday afternoon, before the tournament concludes with the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final in a blockbuster evening session.
Live coverage of the Flanders Darts Trophy will be streamed on DAZN for viewers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, with additional coverage available on CANAL+ SPORT 5 and via the CANAL+ streaming service in Poland.
Coverage will also be broadcast on PDCTV (excluding Germany, Austria and Switzerland) and through bookmakers’ websites worldwide.
NB: From the original list of entries, Luke Littler, Luke Humphries, Jonny Clayton and Gary Anderson have withdrawn from the event, and have been replaced by Gabriel Clemens, James Hurrell, Kim Huybrechts and Brendan Dolan from the Reserve List.
